As with any case, it is important to preserve evidence. Photographs taken of the area near the time of the accident, may be every important. If the accident happened in a store or a public place, was there a video camera in place? Were there any witnesses to your accident? Do not discard the shoes or clothing you were wearing at the time of the accident. Make detailed notes of exactly what you recall happening.
